David Dorey - Chairman


Aaron “Jack” Wylie - Director of Legislative Affairs

Former President of the Student Government Assembly of the Metropolitan State College of Denver.
Majoring in Political Science, Minoring in Women’s Studies.

Aaron “Jack” Wylie is a 7th generation native of Colorado. He is 22 years old, and a Senior at Metro State. He will be graduating in December of 2008.  After graduation, he intends to stay in Colorado to work on the issues of Higher Education and Health Care. His passion is for politics, but he is also a musician, playing drums for a Denver band. In the current academic year, Jack hopes to help make the Legislative Affairs Committee of the ASC as efficient and effective as possible, and secure a lasting and strong reputation for the ASC in all levels of the Colorado State Government.

Shanna L.Snider

President of the Student Government Assembly of the Community College of Denver.  Shanna is studying Political Science and Psychology and expects to graduate in the Spring of 2010 after transferring to a four-year university.  Originally from Texas, she is happy to have finally landed in the beautiful state of Colorado.  

 

Shawn Olsen

Shawn Olsen is currently a sophomore at Pikes Peak Community College and the Student Government Vice President. Olsen is majoring in Political Science and plans to transfer to the University of Denver in 2009 to double major in Political Science and Economics.

Through the State Student Advisory Council (SSAC), Olsen has advocated for the need for more money for the community colleges state wide and has helped push forward the issue of affordable student health insurance state wide. Olsen is also the student representative on the State Board for Community Colleges and Occupational Education (SBCCOE) where he helps develop the short term ideas and long term plans of the community colleges to make sure that they are what is best for the students.
